Questions
No. If anything fails — the service, one image, whatever it is — the visitor sees the original image. We tested the four worst cases and none of them ends in a broken image.
Nothing. They stay where they are, untouched: nothing is recompressed, moved or deleted. Deactivate the connector and the site is back to what it was, instantly.
No. You install and activate the connector; all it does is change the address of your images. Your hosting, your theme and your plugins stay the same.
From the very first visit. There is no bulk job: each image is prepared the first time someone asks for it. The home page we prepare as soon as you activate.
There isn't one. The free plan covers your home page, with up to 50 new images a month, and visits cost us nothing. If the rest of your site needs it too, that's what Pro is for.

Google takes speed into account, and images usually decide the metric it measures on your page. Doing that part well helps — but your position depends on many other things, so we don't guarantee it.
No. Not the IP, not the browser, not the page they viewed. We count bytes and format per site, and nothing else. The connector makes no network calls during a visit.
