NimboCDN delivers a site's images at the right size and in the right format for every visitor, without altering a single original file on the customer's server.

These three texts are official and can be published as they are. They are the same ones we use in our own announcements.

NimboCDN is an image CDN for websites and online stores. Each image is prepared once and delivered at the right size and in the right format for every visitor, from a global network. Original files are never altered, and deactivating the connector reverts everything in one click. The free plan covers the home page and up to 50 new images a month, with no credit card and no expiry date. The company behind it is DIO Digital E-Commerce Services LLC, founded in 2026.
Long description
NimboCDN delivers images for websites and online stores. A connector rewrites the image addresses; the network does the rest. Each image is prepared once — at the size that slot asks for and in the format that browser accepts — and is cached from then on.
The product was built on one rule: no claim ships without a measurement. Across fourteen images from two real stores, compared at equal perceived quality, AVIF needed 32.1% fewer bytes than JPEG. On the home page of the test site, the nine images went from 2,323 KB to 281 KB.
None of this touches the customer's files. Originals stay where they were, the free plan does not expire, and deactivating the connector returns the site to its previous state instantly.

The annual plan is exactly ten monthly payments, so "two months free" is literal and not a marketing rounding.
3. The product in figures
Every row carries the figure and the population it was measured on. A percentage on its own does not hold up in a story. Not for you, not for us. So the two travel together, and we ask that they be cited that way.

4. How it works, in three sentences
- The store installs the connector, and it rewrites the address of the site's images.
- The first time round, each image is prepared for that visitor and cached.
- From then on the network serves the cached copy, and the store's server is not called again for that image.
What changes is the address, not the file. The originals stay on the customer's server, exactly as they were.
5. Story angles
It was built for the founder's own stores
The WooCommerce stores DIO Digital runs were serving images that were far too heavy. None of the available options solved it without altering the original files or demanding a migration. NimboCDN came out of those stores and only later became a product.
WordPress serves images 2.5 times heavier than Shopify
On 3 September 2026 we measured the home page of 41 stores across 14 platforms. WordPress and WooCommerce stores served between 0.2012 and 0.2508 bits per pixel. Shopify stores, 0.0933. That is between 2.5 and 2.7 times the weight for the same image. On modern formats, WordPress landed between 0% and 48%, and Shopify at 100%.
Small, lopsided population: 7 WordPress stores against 12 Shopify ones, and only the home page of each. It is a strong signal, not a census, and should be cited that way.
A plugin's rating tracks how it declares its free limit
A plugin's average rating tracks one thing: how clearly it declares its own free limit. Not the size of its marketing. That is what we found while studying the WordPress directory. One plugin with a million installs carries 76.6% one-star reviews over a limit its listing never mentions. That is why NimboCDN's number — 50 new images a month — sits in the first line of the description, not at the bottom of a pricing page.
The originals are never touched
This is the architectural decision that separates NimboCDN from the category: nothing is recompressed, moved or deleted on the customer's server. Deactivating the connector returns the site to its previous state instantly, with no rollback process.
6. What we do not claim
This section exists because the product was built on the rule that no claim ships without a measurement. These four do not pass it, so we do not use them — and we ask not to have them attributed to us.
We do not say every visitor is served by the nearest data centre
On 27 August 2026 we made 30 consecutive requests against production from Córdoba. The nearest data centre served 23 of them; the other 7 went out through Miami, Ashburn, Rio de Janeiro and Boston. The network overflows to distant centres when the nearest one has no capacity, and that is not up to us.
What we do say: "from our global network". And better still, we say which centre served the request — the dashboard shows the real data centre and the milliseconds measured in the visitor's own browser. That is true every time.
We do not promise the site will load N times faster
We measured bytes, not end-to-end page load. We can state how much lighter the images travel. How much faster a page loads depends on the hosting, the theme and everything else on it.
We do not promise a Google ranking
Google takes speed into account, and images often decide LCP, which is the metric it measures. That much we can say. Promising a position is promising something that does not depend on us.
We do not publish CO₂ avoided or time saved
To say how much CO₂ a site stopped emitting, we would have to assume how many grams each byte costs on the network. Nobody measures that number, and it changes by country and by hour of the day. To say how much time a visitor saved, we would have to assume their connection speed, which we do not know either. Both are arithmetic performed on a guess. Others publish those figures; we prefer to publish the bytes, which are what we measured.

9. Press questions
How is the name written?
NimboCDN, one word, with a capital N and CDN in capitals. Never "Nimbo CDN", "NIMBOCDN" or "Nimbocdn". The legal name is DIO Digital E-Commerce Services LLC.
How many customers do you have?
We do not disclose the number. We can confirm there are real stores in production using the service. Once the figure is large enough to mean something, it will be published with the date it was counted.
What happens to the customer's original files?
Nothing. They stay on the customer's server, untouched: nothing is recompressed, moved or deleted. The connector only changes the address the image is requested from.
Do you store visitor data?
No. The connector makes no network call during a visit: zero calls measured in case W2 of the test suite. And the service stores no data about people visiting the customer's site. The detail is in the Privacy policy.
May I publish the figures in this kit?
Yes, and that is what they are here for. Publish each figure with its population alongside, as it appears in the table. A percentage without its population is a figure nobody can defend, neither you nor us.
Which platforms do you support?
WordPress and WooCommerce today, through a connector in the official directory. More platforms are coming. Which one comes next is decided by measurement, not by requests: in September 2026 we measured 41 stores across 14 platforms to choose.
Whose network do you use?
We do not comment on which infrastructure provider sits underneath. It is our architectural decision and it can change without the customer noticing, so it is not an argument we use. What we do say is what the customer can verify: which data centre served their request, and in how many milliseconds.
